Today, the general conference on psychological and social phenomena was held, addressing the five prevalent phenomena in northwest Syria:
- Suicide phenomenon
- Elderly care phenomenon
- Begging phenomenon
- Child labor phenomenon
- Early marriage phenomenon
The conference saw the participation of scientific research teams from two universities: the International University of Science and Renaissance and Aleppo University in the liberated areas. The scientific teams were supervised by Dr. Mohammed Al-Omar, the scientific supervisor of the International University of Science and Renaissance team, and Dr. Hossam Ibrahim and Dr. Abdulhadi Al-Mahmoud as scientific supervisors of Aleppo University team.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Omar, the Dean of the Faculty of Education at the International University of Science and Renaissance, delivered a speech focusing on the importance of students’ contribution, specializing in studying social and psychological phenomena, and proposing suitable solutions for them
