The memorandum encompasses several key areas, most notably: the exchange of publications and educational materials, joint supervision and examination of postgraduate theses, implementation of joint scientific research, organization of collaborative seminars and conferences, and facilitating academic exchange visits for both faculty members and students.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Darwish, President of the International University for Science and Renaissance, stated that this memorandum represents a significant milestone toward fostering constructive academic partnerships. He added that it will develop skills and expertise through organizing training programs, conducting joint research, and exchanging student and faculty visits, thereby elevating the quality of educational outcomes and advancing the academic process.
For his part, Dr. Tareq Hussam El-Din, President of Homs University, emphasized that signing this memorandum aligns with the university’s ongoing commitment to expanding academic and research cooperation with national educational institutions. This partnership aims to exchange scientific and administrative expertise, opening new horizons for students and researchers to share knowledge in a way that serves the development of higher education and scientific research in Syria.
